We have completed our own self-funded search acquisitions, and we have started multiple businesses with exits to private equity, strategics, and initial public offerings. Now we want to invest in ambitious and hard-working searchers.
Typical Investment Parameters
700k+ Earnings
We focus on quality investment opportunities, with a minimum of $700K in earnings in the previous year and at least a 3 year history of top and bottom line growth.
2-5x Multiple
Value is at the forefront of all of our investments. Our investment criteria require a 3-5x multiple on earnings, allowing for customary add-backs.
7+ Years in Business
Consistency and stability are critically important to us. We only invest in businesses with at least 7 years of operating history, with special attention given to those with a 10+ history.
Fulltime Operators
We only invest in those searchers that will become full-time operators in the acquired business.
Searcher Co-Investment
We want to be sure that our searcher partners love the deal as much as we do. We require that our searchers have "skin in the game" and are investing right alongside us.
High Integrity Searchers
We feel so strongly about integrity, that it's literally in our name. We only invest in searchers that we feel are high-integrity humans - not only in business but in everyday life as well.
